Australia's Theme Park Guide

Dreamworld is a travel guide dedicated to one simple question: which of Australia's theme parks, water parks and thrill grounds are actually worth your day and your money? We cover every major park in the country — the Gold Coast giants, Sydney and Melbourne's heritage piers, Perth's coasters and the hometown favourites in between.

How we work

We rate each park out of ten on three things that decide whether a visit lands: thrills and rides, how the day goes for families and kids, and value and access. Every score is our own editorial judgement. No park pays for its ranking, and no park can buy its way up the list.

No favourites

We don't crown a single "best" park and we don't sell tickets. Every park is scored on its own merits, and the rankings shift as parks add rides, change prices or lift their game. Where one park leads this season, another may overtake it the next — so we keep visiting and keep the scores honest.
